It just can’t rain three Saturdays in a row, so we are hoping for a good day at the Pawtuxet Village Farmers Market. More varieties of apples are arriving to join summer squash, green beans, radishes, tomatoes, and much more. The Southside Community Land Trust will host its annual Hoe
Down, Saturday September 13 at Urban Edge Farm in Cranston. The event, which runs from 4 PM to 8 PM, will have plenty of food, music and dancing. It’s also a chance to visit the farm where Michelle from Zephyr Farms, the Xiongs and Christine Blue Sky Farms grow their crops.Corn Huskers Still Needed
We will be husking corn for the Cranston school lunch program on Monday September 15 and 22 starting at noon at Confreda Farms on Scituate Avenue in western Cranston.
