The final Pawtuxet Farmers’ market runs this Saturday. Here is the final note from the Friends.

Saturday is the last farmers’ market of the year. Don’t be scared off by a little cold weather. Instead, stock up on butternut squash, carrots, potatoes, onions, turnips, shallots, beets, acorn squash, eggs, honey, apples and more for the winter. We will also be selling Marsha’s Jams and Chutneys, which are made in Pawtuxet Village of many local ingredients. And don’t forget to consider buying some locally made soaps and scrubs or a Pawtuxet Village Farmers Market reusable shopping bag for holiday gifts.

Farmers’ Market Withdrawal
Worried about going cold turkey on fresh local produce until May? Visit the Wintertime Farmers Market at 1005 Main Street in Pawtucket . The market will open Saturdays starting December 6 from 11 AM to 2 PM . They will have meat, cheese, winter vegetables, eggs, jams and jellies.

Toy Exchange
Marcia Maynard is organizing a free on line toy exchange for residents of Edgewood , Pawtuxet Village and Gaspee. To join the Edgewood Toy Exchange, reduce consumption and save money contact her at Marcia@chronofish.com.

The last Pawtuxet Farmers’ Market of the year. 9-12 at Rhode on the Pawtuxet.

I don’t remember where the image comes from. Some sort of vintage illustration. If you know, drop me a line.
