Comprehensive Plan Public Workshop: Natural and Cultural Resources and Historic Preservation
Peter Lapolla, Director of Planning, reminds everyone that the Comprehensive Plan public meetings will resume tomorrow night at 6PM at the Cranston Senior Center.
The discussion will focus on the second draft of Comprehensive Plan’s Natural and Cultural Resources and Historic Preservation elements. Visit Cranston’s web site to download a copy of the first six parts of the plan. Those unable to make the meeting can submit feedback on the plan by emailing:

Stop & Shop Plan Questionable
At a special planning review meeting last week, area residents voiced concerns about a proposed Stop & Shop on Warwick Avenue, including lighting, noise, traffic and trash.
Besides the fact that this is a shallow use for this potentially great location, a bigger issue with this proposal is its impact on the city's recurring flood problems.
