State representatives Peter Palumbo and Robert Jacquard slacked on environmental issues, according to a report card from the Environment Council of Rhode Island.
The Council, a collection of diverse environmental groups including Save the Bay and the Sierra Club, issued their 2010 Green Report Cards for the General Assembly. Grades were given based on the percentage of times they voted with the Environment Council's position, as well as bill sponsorship. Palumbo barely passed with a D, while Jacquard was given an F.
Only two Cranston legislators, Nicholas Mattiello and Arthur Handy, got an A on the report. State senator Joshua Miller got an A+.
