Top 5 RI Primaries to Watch
Matt Jerzyk at Rhode Island’s Future has posted a preview of his top 5 most-anticipated primaries in the state. Number 2 was the race for State Representative in House District 16 in Cranston – between John DeGenova and incumbent Peter Palumbo. Here’s what he says about that Democratic showdown:

The winner of that primary will then have to face Eileen Grossman, a Republican, and Michael McManaman, an independent. Palumbo ran unopposed in his last campaign.

Cranston and Warwick Considering a Merger of Services
Mayors Allan Fung and Scott Avedisian are looking to consolidate their city’s services.
