Creator of Family Guy Finds a New Outlet

Family Guy creator and RISD grad, Seth MacFarlane, has struck a deal with Google to distribute an original internet-based animation series called “Seth MacFarlane’s Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy.” The deal is unique in that it will use Google’s AdSense advertising system to deliver video clips of the new series.

RIDOT sends a RIPTA route through Garden City

If you’re wondering why bus 22 has been 9 minutes late, or hasn’t been been showing up at all, the answer is a new RIDOT-imposed route change. A new ten-ton limit restriction placed on a bridge on Pontiac Avenue is forcing RIPTA bus 22 up Sockanosset, down Midway, and back to Pontiac by way of Garden City Drive. Residents who used to catch the bus between Sockanosset and Garden City Drive on Pontiac will have to walk to either of those two intersections.
